Accommodation
In ancient times these typical Sicilian country houses were an integral part of the farm and were built with some traditional walls a metre thick, in order to assure coolness in summer and warmth in winter.
The houses have some shared spaces:
- a wide furnished veranda, equipped with tables, chairs, barbecue and external shower;
- laundry area with washing machine and clothes-horse.
Giglio house
Ideal for 4 people, up to 5 beds (with additional bed)
In ancient times it was used as a store to collect all the tools that were necessary to work in the farm (plough, carts, coaches, agricultural implements); nowadays it is finely furnished in order to create a very welcoming atmosphere.
A wide living-room with sofa, cooking area, table and chairs. A double bedroom with two bedside tables, a wardrobe and some shelves; a double bedroom with a bunk bed and a wardrobe. A bathroom with shower cubicle. Possibility to add a supplementary bed.
The apartment is equipped with fridge-freezer, TV, iron and hairdryer.
Gelsomino house
Ideal for 2 people, up to 4 beds
In ancient times it was used as a store to collect the fodder (barley, oats and wheat); nowadays it is a comfortable two-roomed flat.
A wide living-room with double sofa bed and a cooking area with table and chairs. A double bedrooms with two bedside tables, a wardrobe and a small table. A bathroom with shower cubicle.
The apartment is also equipped with a fridge-freezer, TV, iron and hairdryer.
